Happy Pride Month!!!! This week’s bunch of hotness is spotlighting Hot Openly Gay Actors and there are a BUNCH – I even have a Pinterest Board dedicated to them, you can find it here.
Today’s guys are Actors: Russell Tovey (The Night Manager, Being Human), Scott Evans (One Life to Live, Grace & Frankie), Zachary Quinto (Heroes, Star Trek), John Barrowman (Torchwood, Arrow) and Andrew Scott (Sherlock, Spectre). By no means is this my complete list, I could have added at least a half dozen more but that would make this post super long.
BTW if there’s anyone YOU’D like to suggest for Wicked Wednesday please let me know!
Now, on to updates!
First things first, I heard back from New York Comic Con and I will be attending this year as a pro! I’m very excited as I love writing about my adventures back home and sharing the amazing panels, cosplay and photo ops that I see and do. This year I also hope to blog for Reader’s Entertainment and highlight a lot of the publishers that will be there.
Just announced as attending the con this year is Jason Momoa who you might remember I was supposed to meet at MegaCon, but unfortunately had to cancel his appearance the only day I was going – I will, of course, try to meet him again (TAKE 2!)
On the writing front and my check-in for my June challenge, well ………. it’s June 6th and as of today, I have written 10 pages. But they are hard fought pages, I like my idea for this story and I’m inspired, but it’s not really coming all that easy to me. Usually, first chapters are the easiest things to write – it’s the middle of the books where I hit a wall. I’m not sure what the block is, but I am just writing through it. Maybe once I get into the meat and potatoes of it it will get easier. Luckily I have a year to push through it.
Maybe it’s also because I am going back to the 3rd wolf book and making some edits to it. Nothing drastic like story changes, just some basic tweaks for language and grammar. It’s a case of tightening it up based on some really great feedback that I recently got.
On a more personal front this week I celebrated two incredible events. My nephew Christopher graduated Summa Cum Laude from High School (the smartypants) and will be attending college in the fall (his younger brother, Angel, the youngest of my nephews starts High School in the fall and I am dying – when did everyone grow up?) and, secondly, on the SAME day, my parents celebrated 51 years of marriage.
Well, that’s all for now I suppose. I shall check in again next week with hopefully lots more pages (or at least 7) and a more positive outlook LOL.
Until Next Time,
