Okay so after the holiday yesterday I am a day behind and didn’t realize it was Tuesday until I opened the blog to make a post so I’m winging it.

First, I wanted to post a helpful link to a wonderful blog, it’s targeted to authors, but I think anyone who has to do some kind of creative writing would benefit from it.  It’s called The Bookshelf Muse.  I’ve also listed them in my links area.

Okay so now on to the tease, it’s short LOL

This is from my current WIP.

He awoke with a start.  His body tense he sat up quickly and felt the bed dip beside him.  Rhiannon frowned up at him.  “What the hell?”

“Sorry.”  He ran a hand through his hair then reached for her and placed her back in the crook of his arm.  “I’m not used to waking with anyone in my bed.”

“Well that’s nice to know.” 

Cameron smiled as she snuggled in to him, fitting her body against the side of his.  He kissed the top of her head, “Was I asleep long?”

“No.”  He felt her smile against his chest.  “But you slept hard.  You snore.”

“I do not.”

She lifted her head.  “You do, it’s like grooowl, whimper—whimper, grooooowl.”

“Bullshit.”

“Whatever, Scooby, don’t believe me.  Next time I’m going to record it.”
